PAVING THE WAY FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS
PAVING THE WAY FOR FUTURE GENERATIONS
We focus on building communities through workforce development with 21-Century technology education programs for both youth and adults.
North Dakota has tremendous agriculture, energy and natural resources exports, CREDND seeks to retain our human capital which is our most valuable resource. We believe this effort will build more diverse, interesting, and vibrant communities.
We have developed and implemented successful, award-winning, STEM-certified, training programs in numerous communities that have a proven track record of inspiring young students to reach higher to attain their dreams and goals.
Strong partnerships with corporate, and industrial partners enable us to provide deliberate and strategic plans to grow our local communities with well-trained and skilled labor. We don’t just provide training; students take the technology home with them thanks to generous sponsors that align with our vision.
Our activities and programs create loyal employees for local employers, fanatic customers for business, engaged community members, and inspired leaders of the future.
Studies prove that students with hands-on training perform better academically. Our summer programs are designed to add to the tremendous job our local educators do without drawing on their limited funding or already demanding schedules. We keep students engaged with learning over the summer months and inspire them to return enthusiastically to the classroom.
Our summer tech programs have been recognized statewide by local school superintendents, and principals and have been nominated and awarded by various trade organizations as thought and action leaders.
We also help local civic groups organize children’s Christmas and holiday events to create positive cultural experiences with their families and friends. These activities create positive memories, gives children opprotunity to meet and make new friends and to have engagement with local civic organization leaders to help them build and better understand their connection to their community.
Our new publication The Dakota Leader spotlights our culture, people, places, and projects that make North Dakota a desirable place to grow up, learn, be trained, and remain. It is delivered to key stakeholders, throughout the state and beyond bi-monthly. We feature both past, present, and future community leaders that are making a difference in our communities.
CRED is here to support the economic development of communities. We're happy to offer a number of resources, for everyone and more in-depth research for members. We work hard to help our local communities work through current challenges like childcare and workforce developlment.
Our service to community includes a strategic and sustainable approach to development based on well crafted surveys of both leaders and constituents to determine the wants and needs of residents.
